Team Panthers all smiles at the finish line

Here's our merry band of runners from today's Parbold Hill Race.

For anyone who's never done this race - it is one of the most grueling, hilly 7 Mile races in the North West. Some of the best athletes in the country come from far and wide to pit themselves against the seven different varieties of mud, the lung bursting hill climbs and the hundred and one stiles that make up this race (there might not be quite that many stiles, but it feels like it!)

Personally I'm proud of every single one of you for having a go and giving it your all. So well done to Carol, Ann, Robbin, Elaine, Nicky, Diane and Sally.

This is definitely the image of the day.
I have to say, I love this photo as I think it encapsulates everything this race is about, getting out there, getting muddy, having fun and absolute sheer determination to do the best you can.

A massive congratulations to ALL the Pink Panthers who ran today, you all ran your socks off and it was amazing to watch.

WELL DONE you all deserve a medal, a nice long hot bath and the biggest bar of chocolate you can lay your hands on.
