Summer Grand Prix

WIN WIN WIN

  • Do you want to try racing for the first time?
  • Do you want to set new pb's (personal best times)?
  • Do you want a merry day out with other Pink panthers and have a great run?

Then take part in SOME or (if you are feeling very keen) ALL of the following races we've listed in our Grand Prix.
The idea is that we've selected a few races which we felt genuinely catered for all abilities. (So no excuses, you can even look at previous results to see where you think you might come in the field.) From this selection of races your best 5 results will count. With super duper prizes to be awarded at the next Christmas do - why wait, get those entries in now! Joking apart, a lot of these races do fill up very quickly so early entry is advised. Also the more entries we get out to each race, the more fun it is for eveyone.

What's that coming over the hill? Is it a Panther ?

Here we see Diane looking pretty happy at the top of the last climb, maybe because this 13 mile epic tour of boulder strewn mountain passes is nearly over! The end is in sight, and if you get chance to look up through the sweat and tears it is a lovely view of lake Windermere.

As you may expect this event is not for the faint hearted, but it is a BRILLIANTLY organized event for all the family.
There are two categories of race, the Challenge Race allowing for run/walking and the more serious ´Trail Race´ for anyone willing to really put themselves through the mill!

Mini Panthers
There were 3 ´Peter Rabbit´ fun run races, the following mini panthers took part in the under 8ś race and loved it, especially as they then had a free go on the bouncy castle as part of their entry. I have to say I´ve never tried chocolate ice cream immediately before a race, but looking at the smiles on their faces I think it must be the new energy food!

Well done to;-
