Hawkshead Trail Race

Sat 19th April

It was a cold and breezy day in the Lake District, but that didn't put off our girls from having a go at this tough hilly race.

Helen Mercer was all smiles and completed the course in a very respectable 2hrs, Diane Powell was our only other Panther and completed the course in 1hr 49 min. Diane ran round the course with Jane Woodburn from Skem Boundary and they both looked like they were having a lovely time - see photo, however this was before they met the well known last and steepest hill, appropriately named the coffin trail - I wont/ cant repeat what Diane said about it!
