Childrens Race/Family Fun Run
At the AGM it was decided that we would have a children's race/ family fun run prior to Christmas, with the annual awards ceremony to be held seperatley sometime in March (at the end of the winter cross country season). Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we cannot hold the childrens race on the 14th dec as originally planned, so the committee decided that we will hopefully do something in the spring ( maybe an easter egg hunt or something?)

ASHURST BEACON CROSS COUNTRY

THANKYO
MUDDY doesn't come anywhere near to describing the conditions underfoot! I think we all felt like we had tackled an army assault course at the end of the race, there was deep mud, sloppy mud, sticky mud and hills with .. mud!
Well done to everyone, a special mention to Janine Vincent and Steph Poole as this was their first ever cross country race and they both did brilliantly and even said the had enjoyed it!
TEAM EFFORT - our first 3 girls over the line all ran their socks off and we actually came in as 5th team (out of 8), beating Skem Boundary by a slim 2 points. There is some good friendly competition brewing there.
SO give yourselves a pat on the back and have a nice long bath the next cross country is coming up very soon - on Sun 7th Dec (time 11.30am)

WESHAM 10K
Sat 29th Nov
This had to be the most miserable day to be outside. IT was cold (-3 with a high of -1), It was foggy and it was a flat road 10K, no lovely hills with nice views, but great pb potential.
