PARBOLD HILL RACE 2009
MUD, MUD, glorious mud, nothing quite like it for cooling the blood!
Well nothing quite like it for slowing you down and make it it really really hard to run up hill anyway!
It was as hard a conditions as I've ever done this race in, it was like running through, well, mud and it was very hard going.
A MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS to ALL you lovely PINK PANTHERS for having a go at this notoriously difficult race.
I'm very proud of all of you
The following took part in this race for the first time, so a big congratulations to;-
Liz Peacock, Leanne Stockton-Standley, Julie McCombe (who's only been a pink panther for about 2 weeks!), Keely Tabener, Laura Bolton, Nicola Johnson (who has a possible stress fracture so found it very difficult - but still had a go), Helen Tuzio, Depeeka Hemmady and Lesley Colpitts
You were all amazing and looked great.
There are quite a few phots of this race so if you want to spot yourself try the following links;-

AMAZING ACHIEVMENTS
- We had 15 runners from our little club, that meant we had a total of 5 female teams competing, more than any other club by far.
- We WON the female team category outright with stiff competition from Penny Lane Striders (2nd) and Skem Boundary Harriers (3rd).
- We still definately have the best kits!
Also a massive thanks to anyone who helped with the marshalling at the race, I know that our friends at Skem Boundary really appreciate it and it so nice to be cheered on by so many people.
