RSSFOREST PARK LADIES 5K July1st

This was the first time we have taken part in this race and we put up a really good show coming 2nd Team behind a very strong (and YOUNG team - who's combined ages I'm sure didn't add up to my age!)
It was a bit hot for racing but it was lovely route of path and tracks around the park and we all got flowers at the end which was a nice touch.
THIS WAS A LOVELY ROUTE AND WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE MORE PINK PANTHERS THERE NEXT YEAR - the race caters for all abilities the last finisher coming in at around 38min.

well done everyone- goodness wasn't it warm?! but the bouquet of flowers at the end for all finishers was a lovely gesture. and yes, I definitely dont feel too bad about us coming 2nd to the very young team that won it- i worked out that both their score AND their combined ages we half of ours!! although i still think we could have put their winnings to better use ;)

just went on the internet to find where parbold was -Thanks for the comments about our young girls Tessa and Jade are 14 and kate is 22 and part of the same training group.
