One lonely pink panther in disguise at this event.

I was chased by cows and then blocked by cows, who were rather annoyingly trying to get over a stile before me near the end of the race - I wouldn't mind, but they hadn't paid their entry fee, they weren't wearing numbers and they certainly hadn't run the previous 4 miles - I mean if they want to join in they have to play fair!

All this adventure was made even more entertaining when 2 of the said beasts hurdled a 4 ft fence straight into the arms of Diane Powell, who was very kindly marshalling at that point. Well I don't really need to say any more, anyone who knows Diane can only imagine the level of hysteria reached !

Anyway with all the excitment I met my PB and finished 2nd Lady in a time of 37m25s

I can't comment too much about the conditions of the course as I was only able to watch tonight, but it was lovely to see some PINK out there brightening things up

Tonight it was a case of mud up to your ankles, then mud up past your knees then hope that your trainers stay on until the end of the race.
