Terms And Conditions

Defined terms

The following words and conditions have the following definitions:

• “Enterprise” The Delegate’s employer, as specified on the booking form

• “Delegate” refers to any individual who attends the Women in Construction Summit.

• “Conference” Summit on Women in Construction

• Parbold Pink Panthers “Organizer”

• “Package” The services provided at the Event, which may include conference sessions, refreshments during session breaks, and post-conference presentation material (where speaker permission has been granted)

The Rule of Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be regulated and construed in line with UK law, and any disputes arising out of its interpretation shall be resolved in a UK court.

Requests for Attendance at an Event

To register for an Event, please visit the Women in Construction Summit online registration page or contact a Parbold Pink Panthers representative by phone. No changes to these terms and conditions will be allowed without the Organizer’s prior written authorization.

Price

  • The event will include all of the amenities detailed in the booking.
  • During the Event, the Delegate will be invoiced for all items and services not included in the delegate package and will pay the venue directly.
  • The booking does not cover travel or overnight accommodations. The organisers will not accept invoices or payments for travel and lodging for delegates.

Contractual and Termination Provisions

Upon acceptance of the official booking form or online booking by the Organizer’s, a contract between the Organizer’s and the Company regarding the Event shall exist. In the event of non-payment of any sum due from the Company, whether legally required or not, or of a breach or non-observance by the Company or the Delegate of any of these terms and conditions, or any regulations to be observed by the Company or the Delegate, the Organizer shall have the right to terminate the contract and refuse transmission to the Official or attendance at the Event, without intolerance to the right to rebound all sums payable by the Company.

Withdrawal or cancellation by an authorised representative of the company and substitute policy

  • The Company and/or Delegate shall notify the Organizer in writing of their withdrawal or cancellation. When the Organizer receives written notification of cancellation, it is regarded to have occurred.
  • At no additional cost, a substitute from the same organisation may be made at any time in writing.
  • Because delegate withdrawal results in a loss of profits for the organiser, we do not give refunds once payment has been paid.
  • If a delegate cancels in writing more than 90 days before to the conference, he or she may request a refund or a credit note for a future event organised by Parbold Pink Panthers Limited.
  • Cancellations submitted within 90 days of the event’s start date will be charged the full cost.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel the Event without prior notice (including the substitution, alteration, or cancellation of the event programme, speakers, topics, dates, and location). The Organizers are not liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of an event alteration.
  • If the Organizer cancels an event, money received prior to the cancellation date will be applied to future conferences or, in the event of a postponement, to the rescheduled date. All credit cards are good for a period of twelve months.

Terms of payment

  • Payment in full is due upon receipt of the invoice.
  • Delegates will be denied access to the Event until full payment is received, and will be prohibited from attending any more sessions or social activities at Women in Construction Summit 2020.
  • Bank transfer payments are accepted till May 10, 2020. After May 10, 2020, no payment method other than credit card will be accepted.
  • All payments will be receipted, and the delegate is responsible for all relevant taxes and service costs.
  • Once a delegate booking is confirmed, no subsequent promotional offers may be applied to the same booking.
  • This clause does not render the delegates’ obligations under clause 6 null and void.

Speaker cancellation, postponement, or abandonment

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall have no claim against the Organizers for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the failure of any part of the Event to take place for whatever reason or as a result of the venue at which the Event is scheduled to take place becoming wholly or partially unavailable for the Event’s holding.

If the Event may be held by rearranging or postponing the date of the Event, or by substituting another site for the Event’s holding, or by any other reasonable means, the contract between the Organizer and the Company shall remain in effect.

  • If the Organizers are forced to modify the Conference Program’s content or scheduling, or the identity of any speakers, for any reason, the Organizers are not obligated to refund delegate fees or cover any additional costs paid by delegates attending Women in Construction Summit 2020.

Insurance

The Organizers are not liable for the safety of the Company’s or Delegate’s property, or for its loss, damage, or destruction, or for any other loss or damage experienced by the Company or Delegate, for any cause. The Organizer’s cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from the Event’s cancellation or delay. The Company should insure itself against all obligations and hazards, as well as the delegate’s non-attendance for whatever cause.

Fire Precautions

The Company and the Delegate must follow any reasonable instructions on fire safety issued by the venue or any other authority.

Data and Copyright

The Organizer’s information on any event is correct to the best of their knowledge and belief, but does not constitute a guarantee or representation by the Organizer’s, and any error or omission from such information shall not allow the Company to cancel its booking.

Unless otherwise specified, all information and data connected to the Event that the Organizer’s provide to the Delegate is for the Delegate’s exclusive use, is the Organizer’s property, and cannot be transferred to any third party for any purpose.

Exclusion

The Organizers reserve the right to reject or remove from the Event any individual whose presence, in the Organizer’s view, is or is likely to be objectionable or may jeopardise the safety and well-being of other delegates or employees.
